Education
Prior to his residency, Dr. Yousefi completed a Clinical Research Fellowship in Stroke Rehabilitation and Traumatic Brain Injury at New York University, enriching his foundational knowledge in neurology. He pursued his Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at the University of California Davis and completed his Neurology Residency at the prestigious Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Dr. Yousefi’s medical education began at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. His postgraduate studies also include diplomas in Health Economics and Health Policy and Planning, highlighting his interest in the broader implications of healthcare delivery and policy. Throughout his career, Dr. Yousefi has actively contributed to groundbreaking research, authoring over two dozen publications that focus on neuromodulation, neurorehabilitation, and the physiological and psychological impacts of neurological disorders. His work has earned him recognition at national and international conferences, where he is frequently invited to discuss his findings. Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 2023, Dr. Yousefi holds active memberships in several professional societies, including the North American Neuromodulation Society and the American Society of Pain & Neuroscience.
