Dr. Daniel C. Allison specializes in the areas of musculoskeletal tumors, advanced joint reconstruction, extensive skeletal trauma, and severe orthopedic complications.
Education
He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery with fellowship training and extensive expertise in musculoskeletal oncology and advanced orthopedic reconstruction. Dr. Allison is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons(AAOS), and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS). He is also a member of the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society (MSTS), the Orthopedic Trauma Association(OTA), the Society of Military OrthopedicSurgeons (SOMOS), and the American Orthopedic Association (AOA).
Current Clinical Appointments
He is Assistant Director of Orthopedic Oncology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Co-Director of Orthopedic Oncology at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. He is a Commander in the United States Navy Reserve and deployed to Iraq in 2018 as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, has designed several well-received, cutting-edge orthopedic implant systems, and has been invited to lecture at academic institutions across the world to speak about his expertise and research.
